オープンキャンパスでした。
理学部は無駄に高校生たちに研究室見学させたいらしく、
こちらもプレゼンの準備をしたり実験室を掃除したりして出迎えるのだが、どうにも来る人が少なかったみたい。どうやら素粒子論とか超伝導とかが人気らしい。分かる気がするけど。宇宙好きなら宇宙物理学教室に見に行くんだろうな。時間と労力をかけて準備してるんだから、それなりの人を回して欲しい気もするし、高校生が見たくないものを見せられても困るだろうし、微妙ですな。
今年はその研究室見学の時間帯にテレビ会議があったのであまり生高校生は拝んでないのですが、どうにも元気のない人たちが多かったそう。
夜はホリディインのビアガーデン。

Our Facalty of Science held an open campus today.
They seemed to let high-school students visit laboratories， so we prepared some presentations and tidied up rooms， but actually it was quite a few that the students visited us. I heard they favoured quantum theory group and superconductivity shows. I thought it was quite natural. Those who like astronomy might go to the Department of Astronomy. It’s the fact that we waisted time and resources for preparation， partly I think there is a better distribution of students， while it is nonsense to force them to visit laboratoried they don’t want to.
During the visits， I had to attend a TV-meeting so I didn’t see many young students. And some of us complained their less intensity.
