口に石鹸の泡が入ったので、シャワーで口をすすぎながら考えてたこと：
こうやっていくらすすいでも、分子レベルでみれば石鹸分子は大量に口の中に入って経口摂取することになるが、希釈させればなぜか人は安心してしまう。
学部のときにやった化学実験でも、とある廃液は市の基準濃度よりも希薄すれば流してよいことに対して違和感を感じたものだ。物質量的には何も変わってないというのに。
でも化学反応を支配しているのは濃度であることを思い出すとまあ、いいのかも。反応速度Vは反応物質の濃度に比例するのは高校化学で習うことだが、そういえば比例定数kはアレニウスの式Aexp(-E/kT)で与えられるのを予備校では教えられたなあ。あーこれってマックスウェル分布から来てるのかな。活性化エネルギーを超えるエネルギーを持った分子の割合的な？
で、思考は戻って、潔癖症の人って結局ミクロに見ればきれいでもなんでもないのに、キレイだと思い込める状況を作るだけで満足してるんだよな。いくら石鹸で手をあらっても石鹸分子はいくらでも手に残ってるんじゃないかな。そう考えると人間の認知のしくみなんて非常にいい加減だと思った。

人間の認知については日ごろ思ってることがひとつあって。
ゴミに対する認識が面白い。
人はゴミが自分の手から離れると瞬時にして驚くほどそのゴミに対して興味を失う。ポイ捨てができるのもその意識の影響が大きいだろう。ポイ捨てしなくてもゴミ箱に捨てたものの行き先なんて普通考えない。
また、店で棚にのっていると商品として見るが、床に落ちているだけでゴミ認識する人も多いのでは。ノート的な何かが落ちてて足跡がいっぱい付いてたのを見たことがあるが、そのときは非常に驚いた。

However one washes out his mouth hard， in a microscopic view huge amount of molecules can’t be removed so he couldn’t help drinking them but in fact if they are diluted enough， everyone would feel relieved.
In the case of chemical expeliment I did in the undergraduate days， a certain used testing material can be discarded normally after diluted enough under the standard the government decided; I felt very strange. The total amount of the material was not reduced at all.
But it may be okay， remembering what dominates velocities of chemical reaction is densities. High school chemistry taught me a reaction velocity is proportional to the densities of reacting materials， now I can remember at the cramming school we studied the constant of reaction velocity k is described A*exp(-E/kT)， the formula of Arrenius. Now I realized this formula is derived from Maxwell distribution， indicating a ratio of molecules having higher energy than an activated energy of a reaction. Is that right?
Now return to the previous story， those who have an obsessive passion for cleanliness are satisfied easily when they can feel cleanliness， though it is actually far from cleanliness in a microscopic view. However they wash thier hand with soap harder and harder， lots of molecules of soap are staying on their hand. Then I realized human recognition is so ambiguous.

I’m interested in one thing about human recogonition; that of trash.
One can loose interests of trashes immediately once the trashes leave him. I think this might be why one can litter garbages in the street or so. Even those who don’t litter anything seldom think about where the trashes they put in the trashboxes go.
Another example. When commercial products are placed on the shelves， everybody regard them as they are. In case unfortunately they might drop on the floor， people would see them as not products but rabbish. Actually I was surprised when I saw a notebook or something was laying on the floor， having been stepped on by many people.
